The Rouanet Institute, located in Tiradentes, is pleased to present the exhibition “Mechanics” by the young photographer from Rio Grande do Sul, Lorenzo Beust, as part of an initiative to invite the Mercosul Biennial for a partnership. Our goal is to offer the public in Minas Gerais a glimpse of what is taking place at the Biennial, held simultaneously in Porto Alegre, RS.
This exhibition results from an important collaboration between the Institute and the 14th Mercosul Biennial, one of the most significant contemporary art events in Brazil. Under the theme “Spark”, the Biennial runs from March to June 2025, addressing themes of life, movement, and metamorphosis. For the first time, the Biennial expands its boundaries to Minas Gerais, with a simultaneous traveling exhibition in Tiradentes.
